Students of Classes 3 to 6 were given an exposure to a Spice Fashion show “Razzmatazz” a fashion pageant where students walked on the ramp, disguised as spices on August 3,2018. The Houses were allotted different countries like America, China, Japan, Australia, Middle East countries, India etc. After a detailed research on spices used in these countries students disguised like various spices along with dialogues, stylish attire and props…The audience was enthralled as the children strode the ramp, with elegance and vogue with their feet tapping to the music.
This activity was a part of “International School Awards” named “Spices of the World” .It was organized in order to fulfill the basic aim of ISA i.e to include the international dimension in the school’s curriculum. Some of the spices used from around the world by the students were cardamom, nutmeg, bay leaf, thyme, aniseeds, jalapeno pepper, cinnamon, Chenpi, liquorice root, Sichuan pepper etc. Students stole everyone’s heart by explaining the uses and benefits of these spices. Labdhi Chopra of Class VI was the show-stopper.
