‘This is a beautiful tradition that instills reverence and love within the child and establishes a beautiful bond between the child and his parents. Through love and reverence for the mother and father the child will learn easily to extend that same love to the Supreme Lord of the whole Cosmos.’
Based on these principles Matru Pujan Ceremony was celebrated on Thursday, 27th September 2017 at Medi-Caps International School by the Senior Block and the Junior Block students separately. The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp and offering puja to the Goddess of learning ‘Saraswati’. Next The Principal of the school, Mr. Manoj Bajpai explained the noble purpose of celebrating this programme. The Chairman, in his speech told the students to value the sacrifices done by their mothers and take care of them. It was followed by a cultural programme. Some of the students performed a wonderful musical performance. It was followed by a heart touching skit in Hindi. A power point presentation on the sweet memories of mothers and children filled the gathering with emotions. In a Mime Show the students beautifully expressed their love and gratitude for mothers.The atmosphere was electrified with a mesmerized dance drama performance by the students of Junior Block which depicted that the best mother is she who inculcates moral values in her children. Tribute to Goddess Durga with Dhunuchi was the highlight of the programme.In a serene atmosphere, 350 students from classes I to IV and
260 students from classes V to VIII got an opportunity to perform Pooja and experienced the beautiful relationship with their parents,worshipping their feet and rediscovered love, hope and trust in them. Vote of thanks for the Senior Block celebration was proposed by the coordinator Mrs. Suchita Sharma and the Junior Block by The Head Mistress Mrs. Neetu Joshi. The function was graced by the presence of Mrs. & Mr. R.C.Mittal, Chair person of Medicaps group of institute and Chancellor of Medi-Caps University; Mr. Gopal Agrawal, Vice Chairman of Medi-Caps Group of Institute Mrs. Gitika Arawal, Director of Medi-Caps International School and Mrs. & Mr. Garg, trustees of Medi-Caps International School.
