Independence Day 15.08.2018

Medi-Caps International School celebrated the 72nd Independence Day with zeal and enthusiasm befitting the occasion. The spirit of freedom was vibrantly alive as every person and every corner of the school was adorned in the tri colors of the nation. The program commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, Lt. General B. S.Sisodia followed by National Anthem. The spectacular March Past of newly elected student council to the beat of the school band filled everyone with pride and honour. They were conferred with badges and sashes by Honourable Chief Guest as they marched to the stage with promises in their eyes. The Principal administered the oath to the office bearers. The school Principal Mr. Manoj Bajpai in his speech exhorted upon the students to follow the path of righteousness and work diligently to bring laurels to the country. Addressing the students, the Chief Guest, Lt. General spoke on the importance of education and the role played by the educational institutions. He reiterated that the school, teachers and parents play a vital role in nation building. A special lyrical presentation on ‘Champaran Satyagraha’ received much deserved applaud from the audience present. The school orchestra displayed its myriad talent through instrumental music. Another major highlight of the day was ‘An Inter-House Enactment Competition’, organized for the students also added the festive spirit to the day. It was a proud moment to watch the students showcasing their talent and spread the essence of tricolour wrapped in emotions and pride for our motherland. Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to remember our freedom fighters and experience the freedom, peace, unity & diversity of our great nation. Mrs. Kusum Mittal, Mr. Gopal Agrawal ,Vice-Chairman of Medi-Caps Group and Mrs. Geetika Agrawal Director of Medi-Caps International School were also present to grace the celebration. The programme concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks proposed by the Head Mistress, Mrs. Neetu Joshi.
