Child psychology 02.11.2017

An orientation programme for teachers on  early childhood education  was conducted  in MIS on 2nd Nov 2017. The workshop was held with an aim to make teachers understand child psychology and bring a qualitative improvement in the teaching – learning process. Mrs. Smita  Matai, associated with  various educational institutions essaying different roles and responsibilities like teacher, subject head, principal, was the resource person. She discussed different aspects of child development and shared different techniques and strategies that can be adopted for the development of various skills among the young learners. She also involved the teachers in activities, which they could utilise to strengthen various concepts being taught in the class. The teachers were also apprised about the continuous and comprehensive evaluation, besides how to evaluate students using play-way techniques such as group games, fun activities and puzzles.
