Medi – Caps International School celebrated its Third Annual Day ‘Anandotsav’ on Saturday, November 9, 2017 amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Mr.Sant Saran Mantri, IRS, Commissioner of Income-tax, Indore was the Chief Guest. Among other dignitaries present were our Guest of Honour Mr. Gopal Agrawal, Vice Chairman of MIS Group of Institutions, Director, Mrs. Geetika Agrawal, The Principals of various schools, members of School Managing Committee and parents. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Honorable Chief Guest Mr. Sant Saran Mantri and other dignitaries escorted by the Principal. Next, the Principal, Mr. Manoj Bajpai formally welcomed the eminent guests and introduced the Chief Guest to the gathering. The theme for the annual day was ‘Incredible India’ which was presented meticulously by the students. Music filled the air when a musical orchestra played a fusion of songs to bring symphony and melody into life followed by Welcome song. Principal presented the school report highlighting the achievements of the students in the co-curricular and academic field. He also said that school firmly believes in a harmonious blend of the head, heart and hands. The aim is to make the children forward looking by enriching them with social skills, critical thinking and the ability to apply knowledge. He said that without parents’ co-operation, the holistic development of a child is not possible. The blessings were invoked by a soulful Lord Ganesha, Goddess Saraswati and Bharat Mata Vandana rendered by a group of children. A Hindi Skit ‘Guru – Shishya Parampara’ aimed to bring forth the culture and tradition of India in all its glory. The beautiful dances were performed by the students to show religions, festivals and villages of India. ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’, a small skit on general awareness was also presented to show the importance of cleanliness. ‘Emotional Ecstasy of India’ was an attempt to showcase the peace and harmony in India was worth appreciating. Broadway show was performed interlaced with beautiful dances on warriors of India and ethnicity of Indian states which was spell binding. ‘Indian Brainiacs’ an English Skit staged by the students depicted the craze of educated professionals, skilled workers and technicians to go and settle in developed countries. It was followed by ‘Victory and Vision’ in which the students displayed a wide array of victories of great legends of India. Meritorious students were felicitated in various fields like academics, sports and punctuality. Congratulations to Agni House for winning the Best House trophy. Ms. Kashish Puraswani was felicitated with the ‘Student of The Year’ award. The event closed with a grand finale celebration ‘Unity in Diversity’. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervor. The chief Guest, in his speech appreciated —– In the end, Mrs. Suchita Sharma, Coordinator of senior block presented the Vote of Thanks. The entire school participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this grand event.
